We want to clarify the situation from our perspective. When our technician initially visited, they spent 4.5 hours attempting to diagnose and resolve the issues by doing a minor rebuild both toilets. Our goal was to fix the problem efficiently and within the initial budget discussed for those standard repairs.Unfortunately, as you noted, the initial rebuild did not fully resolve the slow flushing. Plumbing diagnostics, especially with complex issues like intermittent or persistent slow flushing, often involve a process of systematically ruling out possibilities. During our first visit, we focused on the most common solutions.When we made a second trip, sending two technicians, it was with the intention of providing a fresh perspective and deeper analysis. At that point, because the standard rebuild didn't work, we presented options that were more invasive but necessary for a full diagnosis. These options included pulling and resetting your toilets or even just one to run a sewer camera down the drain for further inspection, as well as reverse augering and inspecting the toilet from the bottom. These steps are crucial when initial, less intrusive repairs don't yield results, as they allow us to investigate potential blockages or deeper issues within the drain lines themselves.We understand that you were hesitant to incur additional costs, and you ultimately decided not to proceed with these further diagnostic steps, informing us that you would seek assistance elsewhere. While we respect your decision, our ability to fully resolve the "toilet mystery" was limited without being able to perform these necessary diagnostic procedures.At Da Vinci's Best Plumbing, we are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
